North Plains Farmers’ Market

Saturday June 22nd the Coloring Contest Winning entries will be on display at the information booth. Sign up for Market Sprouts program and receive $3.00 in Sprout Bucks with each visit during the next 10 weeks while funds last! Children ages 4-12 are eligible. The Sprout Bucks can be spent on fruits, vegetables and plants. John Twist will be our musician. Oregon State University Master Gardener will be at the community booth. Bring your garden questions!
Due to a generous market grant from New Seasons Market we will match SNAP/Oregon
Trail Card purchases up to $5.00 per person, per market day. The Market Sprouts Kids Club is a collaborative grant from New Seasons Market for Beaverton, Hillsboro, Forest Grove and North Plains Farmers’ Markets. The market will continue to accept WIC/Senior vouchers as well.
The 2013 farmers’ market handbook and vendor application are available on line at www.northplainsfarmersmarket.org and at City Hall.

The North Plains Farmers’ Market board continues to seek board members and volunteers for the farmers’ market.

The Market Sprouts program will run for 11 weeks starting June 15th.The Market Sprouts will be planting the Market Spouts garden bed in the community garden across the street. Don’t miss the last Farmers’ Market of the Season!

Come this Saturday September 29th and stock up on produce,honey and canning for the pantry! Gene will be at the market on guitar for our music this week. Bob Harmon will be back with “Man Bites Dog” serving our favorite dogs and hamburgers. There will be a celebration cake for the enjoyment of our patrons. The North Plains Farmers’ Market will be two years old! Thank you for your support!

Kingnik returns to the market to play! The North Plains Garden Club will have their community booth and Man Bites Dog will be serving up the market’s favorite hot dogs! The market continues to match Oregon Trail Card purchases up to $10.00 per person. Only three more markets to go! Come stock up on produce,honey and canned items for the pantry from our local farmers!
