North Plains Farmers’ Market Open Saturdays 9:00-1:00 through September 28th
Rain or shine, come and stock up at our last farmers’ market of the season! Kingnik returns to serenade us this Saturday! OSU Extension Food Preservation volunteers will be on hand to answer your canning and food preservation questions. Weather permitting the cider press will be out.
Due to a generous market grant from New Seasons Market we will match SNAP/Oregon
Trail Card purchases up to $5.00 per person, per market day. The market accepts WIC/Senior vouchers.

August 17th The Farm Truck, Tractor and Old time Farm Implement show will take place with the market. The Senior Center will host a bar-b-que. From 12:00 am to 2:00 pm. The application to enter the event is posted on the web site at www.northplainsfarmersmarket.org. All entry donations for this event will go to the North Plains Farmers’ Market. There will be prizes!

Upcoming events will be The Washington County Fresh & Canned Food Drive August 10th with the Tualatin Valley Gleaners, a partner with the Oregon Food Bank. All canned food donations will go to the North Plains Food Pantry. August 10th Tuality Community Hospital Mammography Van will be present at the market. The Senior Center will host a Pancake Breakfast August 10th. Starting at 7:00 am. Volunteers are available after the parade to ferry patrons from the farmers’ market to summer fest & Garlic Out West by golf cars. Look for the orange flags on the golf cars! Adam, Katie and Connor our Garlic Driver volunteers, will be back to drive you where you need to go!
